Products

From time to time I may mention products or services.  Naming products can make it easier for you to make changes that you need to make.  I choose or showcase products and services based on their performance, availability, price and where possible, environmental credibility and/or because other people that I trust recommend them. For example, I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

Products and services are always developing and changing so if you have a bad experience with a product I have recommended, or think that another one is worth me mentioning, please contact me. I want to make sure my content stays current and relevant.

I am happy to review products but I will not necessarily incorporate these into the site unless I feel they do a great job, fill a need and provide good value.

Helping Others

When you buy something from me, you will also be contributing to providing electricity – sustainable power course – to villagers in East Timor, one of the poorest nations in the world.  I donate 10% of all sales – yes sales, not just profits – to that important work.

If you would like to donate directly to that work, you can do so through the Australian Technology Association.

Funding

I need funding to continue to produce content.  I will do this through selling my own products and services, and through advertising and sponsored content.  I will do my best to ensure that any advertising is relevant to the aims of this blog and that the source/product is reliable.
